Life is super duper busy at the moment! My life is revolving around lists!
I’ll be working on 5 amazing editorials within the next few months, and some gob-smacking agencies in the line up. I’ll be photographing the wonderful ROCKNATIONS conference in Bradford and the week after that I’m traveling down to London with mega brilliant photographer Ryan Bater :-)
Excited doesn’t even cut it!
I am looking to sell my Nikon D40 with a 18-55mm lens for £200
I purchased the camera in November 2008 and stopped using it earlier this year. The camera itself is not broken but due to its age the shutter life expectancy is half way through its life and I would recommend only buying as either a start up camera for people just getting into photography (or as a good quality camera for family events etc..)
Camera has good clarity and several auto settings for those who want to keep it simple.
Comes with box, instructions, charger and I will even throw in a UV filter because I’m nice :)
Willing to negotiate on price but ideally would like at least £200 for it.

I now have a job!
After deciding I want to look for work and shoot a little bit less for more sturdy income I went looking and found a lovely part time job at Emma’s Apothecary and Homestore :-) Its a very beautiful little shop and I’m so pleased to be working there.
This means I will be shooting less but I am still available for bookings, and I have sundays off especially for my photoshoots. In the next few months I’ve got some really exciting things lined up and I am so excited to be able to share them with you very soon!
I shall be shooting with Lia tomorrow and will upload some sneak previews before I release the final photos in a few weeks.
I’m also looking into creating some short video’s explaining how i started photography and some tips for those starting out young. Of course I’m still young and learning but I thought sharing my experiences might help!?

Lately I’ve been looking into what I really want to be doing with myself in the next year and what further education I want to take and my paths etc…
Its been freaking me out when I suddenly realised that I turn 18 this November and my portfolio is still really thin on the ground! I’ve been looking at work of people my age if not years younger and I really need to step up my gears and push myself to my limits. I’ve got some fab idea’s storing away and they will stay there until I’ve got my organisation skills back on track!
I decided that I need to start looking for a part time job and with the prospect of a new one coming along pretty soon I need to get my priorities in order! This means that I will defiantly be shooting in a tighter time bracket which may limit myself but I need a more sturdy income so unfortunately I’ll just have to figure out how to juggle a job, college, and a business all at the same time :-) Impossible? Never…
I’ve also decided that I do not want to go straight into uni after my second year on my course. I feel like uni is something that I will always be there if I later decide to go. For now I want to focus on getting my name out there and have sort of a ‘gap year’ kind of option, maybe move somewhere with a little more freedom and work on my career more personally. I’m not ruling out uni, it just doesnt feel like the right road for me at the moment.
On shoot updates, I’ve got three editorials in the works which will be late July/August so keep an eye out for sneaky previews on that.
I’m also photographing a wedding tomorrow! Exciting! Not you’re average wedding but all will be revealed after the big day!
I have a few casting calls for creative teams or anybody who can help me…
I need a studio to hire for an evening in mid/late July, I need use of the lighting systems and coloured backgrounds. I’ll be working on TFP basis for this so I wouldn’t be able to commission but there would be an opportunity to get your studio in advertisement and breathe a young girl a massive sigh of relief!
I’m also looking for somebody who knows/owns a ‘shabby’ (by shabby I mean very sweet little old looking, but not necessarily vintage) bungalow or house I can shoot in.
For models I’m looking for over 18 models willing to participate in partial nudity (top half only) - Both female and male.
